| CONGRATULATIONS PREDATORS! |
|
May 26, 2008 Congratulations to the Predators for winning the u9 boys Championship at the Memorial Day Shootout in Erie! Our boys rolled through the preliminary rounds beating Stars United 2-0, Cleveland Internationals 7-2, and Spectrum Soccer School 6-0. In the semi-finals, they beat the Internationals again (5-3) before meeting the Erie Admirals in the finals. The home town team was no match for our boys -- the Predators left no doubt they were the better team, beating the Admirals 6-0. This team is coached by Jeremy Gillespie. | U8 Chargers Play in First Festival |
April 28, 2008
PFA's newest team, the u8 Chargers, had their first opportunity to play together as a team this past weekend at a festival event organized to give our youngest players some game experience. This event was held in Butler and teams from Erie and Northern Crew participated. Our boys held their own against some older competition, and played better and better as the afternoon continued. We will try to schedule another event for our u8s this spring. In the fall, this group will play a regular PPA schedule and will be adding more players to their roster. There will be a player identification for this team in June, so check back for details.
